Burlington Public School Nurses are essential and valued members of the educational team. Our nurses are held to high standards by both the Massachusetts Department of Health (MDPH) and the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE).

They offer unique opportunities for students to learn healthy behaviors and to receive easily accessible health services within a school setting.

They are specially trained in health promotion and assessment, respond skillfully to today's students' ever-changing health care needs, and are knowledgeable in the most appropriate referral procedures.

Our nurses are dedicated to addressing all our students' medical and emotional needs to keep them healthy, safe, and ready to learn.
