If you are taking a full-year Honors or AP math class next year, we strongly recommend completing this summer practice.
This work reviews important skills that you will need at the start of the course. Honors and AP classes move quickly, so there will be very little time to review old material during the school year.
This work is optional* and will not be graded, but you should be comfortable with all of the topics before the first day of school. Use notes from previous classes, online resources, or a calculator if you need help. If you do not own one, you can access an excellent graphing calculator for free online at
www.desmos.com.
Don't wait until the end of the summer. Work on a few pages each week to keep your skills sharp and avoid rushing to finish.
