Kicks for Cancer

Each year, Burlington High School Boys Varsity Soccer participates in the Kicks for Cancer Event at Concord Carlisle High School. This year's event will take place on Saturday 9/29.  They will be participating in this event for the fourth consecutive year, with BHS  taking on Wakefield High School at 10am at CCHS.

This event is a highlight for the soccer program, as not only is it a great day for local soccer (as the teams participating are some of the best in the state), it is also a wonderful experience for our players in understanding the impact they can have on their community through soccer. In addition to representing BHS and our local community, each player will be wearing a personalized jersey that will have a name on the back of it of someone in their life that has been impacted by cancer.  Our players value this opportunity greatly, and take great pride in representing those friends and family members that have been affected.

We would love to have your support in the stands on Saturday, but if you can not attend, you could consider making a donation to this year's fundraising effort. Kicks for Cancer raised $62,642 for the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute during last year's event! BHS Boys Varsity Soccer players are currently selling raffle tickets for prize packages that are determined on the day of the event. Please note, that you do not have to be present to win.  Tickets are 1/$5 or 5/$20. To make a donation or to purchase raffle tickets please contact Mr. Jackling at jackling@bpsk12.org
