School Safety

At Fox Hill School, safety is a huge priority!

Good Afternoon Fox Hill School Families,

At Fox Hill School, safety is a huge priority. With that said, I want to inform you of an incident that happened today near our school.  The incident happened before any students had arrived. At approximately 6:45 this morning, two staff members arrived at school for the day.  While they were in the parking lot, they noticed a man near the edge of the woods at the end of our parking lot. The man was walking erratically and went in and out of the woods twice.

Concerned that this person seemed suspicious, the staff members went inside and alerted our head custodian.  At 6:47, he placed a call to the Burlington Police Department to report a suspicious person near Fox Hill School.  The Burlington Police arrived at 6:49 and the suspicious person was gone from the scene. The officer advised to report if the man is seen again, which he was not.

Thank you to our staff for being diligent in reporting suspicious activity.  Also thank you to the Burlington Police Department for their quick response and continued communication throughout the day.  We will continue to follow our safety protocols to ensure the safety of our students and staff. If you have any questions please feel free to call or email me.

Thank you,

David Rosenblatt
Principal
