A note from our School Nurse...

It is back to school time!  This means that our young students will be sharing everything from germs to hats.  Please encourage your children to wash their hands often. If your student has a fever or has vomited, they need to remain out of school for the following 24 hours.  Please encourage your student not to share hats and clothing. As a general rule, it is always to your benefit to check your child’s hair for lice every 2 to 4 weeks.  Working together, we can have a fun and healthy school year!! ~Mrs. Hazen - School Nurse

Used Bookstore - A Note from our Reading Specialist, Mrs. Murphy

Volunteers are needed for our school Used Bookstore.  One Wednesday a month from 8:00 AM until just before 9:00 we set up used books in the cafeteria.  When students arrive they come down to shop for books.  All books are 25 cents.  Volunteers help set up, sell, and pack up the books.  You can bring your children with you at 8:00.  Please let me know if you would like to volunteer.  All volunteers need a current CORI and a confidentiality meeting. Thank you for your help ~Donna Murphy  or 781-238-6859

A special THANK YOU to our FW PTO community for this beautiful flower arrangement I received after my family's recent loss. I am grateful for your thoughtfulness, kindness, and words of encouragement during this time.

GIANT THANK YOU to Stantek Corporation!

A group of Stantek engineers dropped by FWS to volunteer!  They spent two quality hours landscaping our garden beds with the help of the Burlington Recreation Department.  We truly appreciate our community partners for all the effort and sweat to help           beautify our school!

The WHEEL Of WYMAN continues!  Each SOAR coupon a student receives is a chance to spin the wheel.  As we place letters on the mystery prize board, students try to guess their school-wide reward for SOARING.  We have buckets of coupons already this year.  Way to go FW Falcons!!
