I began my principalship at Fox Hill Elementary School in July 2018. Prior to Fox Hill, I was the assistant principal at Memorial Elementary for two years. Before that, I was a teacher for nine years and taught first, third, fourth, and fifth graders. I am fortunate to have experience teaching in different elementary grade levels which helps me understand the diverse student needs and curriculum throughout elementary school.
Our school values of safety, kindness, respect, and responsibility are the foundation for student life at Fox Hill. Our Positive Behavior Incentive System (PBIS) is called Be the 1. Be the 1 connects to students being the “1” to represent our school values. Students who demonstrate our school values, receive Be the 1 tickets from staff members. Each week one student from each grade level is publicly acknowledged during our morning announcements and has their picture displayed in our front lobby. Our Be the 1 winners are also celebrated on our website under Fox Hill News and on our Instagram account @FoxHillElementary. Be the 1 is a wonderful way to celebrate the students at Fox Hill School.
