BECC School Closure/Delay Information
School Closures:
If the Burlington Public Schools are closed due to weather or any other reason, school is canceled for all grades, Preschool-Grade 12.
Two-Hour Delay:
All AM/morning preschool sessions are canceled (Lucky Ducks, Puppy Pals, Safari Scouts, Barnyard Buddies).
If your child is dismissed at 11:10 AM, they do not attend school on delayed openings.
- If your child is in the Busy Bees or the Cub Cadets, your child will have school from 10:10 AM to 12:10 PM.
- All afternoon students will attend their afternoon session if there is a 2-hour delay in the morning.
