The Human Resources Office partners with our various District departments and staff to recruit, develop, and manage a highly skilled and diverse workforce in support of educational services and student success. We strive to provide equitable, enriching and enjoyable careers for our talented staff. Burlington employs over 500 educational staff including certified teachers and specialists, administrators, clerical, custodial, instructional support, cafeteria, and custodial/maintenance staff. Our student population showcases global diversity, where nearly 60 home languages are spoken by our students and their families.

Thank you for your interest in working for the Burlington Public Schools! We
welcome dynamic, forward thinking individuals who reflect the diversity of our student body, are culturally adept, and who are committed to promoting student growth. We look for a candidate who can fulfil the responsibilities of the position, and sometimes that candidate has a non-traditional background. We encourage you to apply for any position that suits your career goals, even if you don’t meet every qualification.
